Overview

This seminar offers you a cost-effective and convenient way to stay current on the immigration issues that matter most. Discussions are lead by practitioners with extensive experience in the subject matter being presented.

Nikki Mehrpoo Jacobson is a founding partner at Jacobson & Han LLP, Immigration Attorneys. Ms. Jacobson has been practicing immigration law since 1997. She is an active lecturer and author on various immigration topics and legal ethics. She is also a distinguished Assistant Professor of Law at West Los Angeles College.

Greg Siskind is a founding partner of Siskind Susser. He writes several books including the annually published J-1 Visa Guidebook and the American Bar Association’s Lawyers Guide to Marketing on the Internet. In 1994, he created
www.visalaw.com, the first immigration law firm web site in the world. He also blogs on immigration at http://blogs.ilw.com/gregsiskind.

Davis C. Bae, Seattle, WA
Davis C. Bae is the founder and managing attorney of the Bae Law Group. Mr. Bae’s practice focuses on comprehensive immigration planning for multinational and fast-growth corporations. He regularly speaks to professional associations and companies on a variety of immigration issues including corporate changes, human resources, legal advocacy, foreign recruitment, and employee retention. Mr. Bae lectures on practice management issues and has teaches the course “Small & Solo Practice” at the University of Washington Law School.

Reid Trautz, Director, AILA Practice and Professionalism Center, Washington, D.C.
Reid F. Trautz is an attorney and Director of AILA’s Practice & Professionalism Center, where he provides guidance on practice management and ethics issues to help members improve their businesses and the delivery of services to their clients. He is a nationally-recognized author and presenter on these topics. His articles have appeared in numerous publications, including Law Practice Management, GP Solo, and Immigration Law Today. He is a frequent presenter at CLE conferences nationwide.
